makes 2 to 3 dozen bars
1 ½ C graham cracker
crumbs
½ C (1 stick) butter,
melted
1 14oz can of
sweetened condensed milk
2 C (12 oz)
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ⅓ C flaked coconut
1 C chopped nuts (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F (325˚ for glass dish).
2. In small bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter;
mix well. Press crumb mixture firmly on bottom of lightly greased 13x9 inch
baking pan/glass dish.
3. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Layer
evenly with remaining ingredients; press firmly down with fork.
4. Bake 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned, do not
overbake! Let cool and chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store covered at room
temperature or in refrigerator.
